Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and Hard Rock Cafe Maldives marked Pinktober 2025 with a successful fundraising campaign supporting the Cancer Society of Maldives. The initiative concluded with an official handover event at Hard Rock Cafe Maldives in April 2026, where USD 8,424 raised was fully donated to support breast cancer awareness and screening programs. As part of the global Hard Rock Heals Foundation, the campaign united guests, team members, and the local community throughout October 2025 through awareness- driven activities and creative fundraising efforts.
A highlight was the Pinktober auction featuring a limited-edition Epiphone acoustic guitar and additional Pinktober guitars, with proceeds dedicated entirely to the cause. Additional contributions came from silent auctions, themed Pink Burgers and Pink Drinks, a Pink Room upgrade experience, and electric guitar rentals, along with community events such as a Fun Run and dance fitness sessions. Staff participation, including Pinktober merchandise sales, further strengthened engagement.
General Manager Frederic Lebegue emphasized community unity through music and purpose, while Cancer Society of Maldives founder Hussein Rasheed acknowledged the impact in expanding awareness and screening programs. The initiative reinforces CROSSROADS Maldives’ commitment to purposeful hospitality, using experiences to drive social good and lasting community impact in the Maldives region.
