Dream, Decide, Develop
‘’Dream, Decide, Develop’’ is a career guidance series jointly developed by the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) and the Maldives Association of Human Resource Professionals (MAHRP),
The aim of this series is to enhance awareness of the widespread career paths available in the Hospitality Industry and disseminate knowledge and insights that would assist in pursuing them.
Objectives:
- Disseminate knowledge and insights to assist students decide on a career path which they aspire to (a career path which matches their strengths, knowledge, ambition, etc.).
- Inspire secondary education students to pursue a career in the Hospitality Industry as well as higher education streams that enhance their chances of securing a career pathway within the Hospitality Industry.
- Share success stories of different leaders and notable professionals currently working in the tourism / hospitality industry.
Ethos:
- Dream: Inspiring students to garner a mindset filled with ambition, creativity and Resilience.
- Decide: Assisting students to be self-aware enough to help decide on a career pathway and simultaneously acquire a grounded mindset that pushes them to do the groundwork required to pursue their dreams.
- Develop: Instilling a mindset to never stop growing and learning, even after they attain their desired position and initial goals for their work lives.
